Reiki, pronounced "Ray-Key", is a method of natural healing based on the application of Universal Life Force energy.
The practicioner places hands on the person to be healed with the intent for healing to occur and then the energy
begins to flow. The Reiki energy is intelligent as it links into the Universal Intelligence of Prime Creator. The
energy knows where to go and what to do when it gets there to activate the client's own inner healer. All this
happens without direct conscious intervention by the healing practitioner. The primary guide being the client's
own God Consciousness. * Rei = Universal
* Ki = Life energy
Reiki is a gentle healing system which assists in stress reduction through the “laying on of hands”.
Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit creating many beneficial effects that
include relaxation and feelings of peace, security and well-being. Many have reported miraculous results. We are alive because of our life energy or Ki that is flowing within us, the energy is intelligent and loving.
Ki flows within our physical bodies, Ki animates the physical organs and tissues as it flows thru them. If there is a
disruption in the flow of Ki, this is the main cause of
illness. A Reiki Session helps you to remove blocks by running the Ki thru charkas and meridians. Reikis’ Rei or God
conscious goes to these blocks so the Ki can open these channels. returning the body back to its natural balance.

Holistic Emergency Care And Trauma Recovery
There are a variety of ways to address emergency and trauma situations, both with humans and with animals.
For years in much of the west, the traditional action has been that of allopathic medicine, focusing on the
physical problem directly with techniques that stabilize the situation, while not necessarily healing the
long-term affects of it, or the affects it is having on a person’s subtle bodies (emotional, mental, spiritual).
Holistic emergency care and trauma recovery recognize and address all bodies as a whole, often utilizing a wide
variety of holistic modalities, such as herbology, homeopathy, flower essences, theta healing, reiki, organic
nutrition, reflexology, and acupuncture. In an emergency situation the key is to utilize basic emergency techniques, (such as taught through American
Red Cross, Song of the Dove Foundation, and other organizations), simultaneously with holistic modalities that will
assist the person’s inner healer in attaining stability and balance the most quickly. Applying them as required, and
in the order of most effectiveness, first at most critical levels to attain stability for the human or animal, and
then circling back through the bodies to address less critical imbalances until complete stability and ultimately
balance and wellness are attained. Dependant upon the situation, holistic emergency and trauma assistance can be provided in person, and also
long-distance, (remotely) by a holistic emergency consultant, in partnership with a person or persons on site to
provide assistance that requires physical application. Always seek professional assistance in the
case of life-threatening emergencies.
Greetings! My name is Kathryn Ariel. I have lived in the Siskiyou region since 2001, moving here from San Diego
where I grew up and lived most of my life, with brief residencies in several other states along the way. Having grown
up with many health challenges of my own, asthma, allergies, etc., I journeyed a path of self-healing that has taken
me from allopathic medicine into the holistic healing where I have learned to weave the two together for the highest
and best healing of myself and my clients.
I am a medical instuitive by natureI serve humans and animals alike, with a primary focus on emergency care, trauma recovery, acute care and overall
wellness consultations. While addressing recovery and coming back into balance from the current situation, in all
areas, attaining balance and injury/illness prevention are a major focus of my consultations. My official training
includes emergency care, physical fitness, theta healing, herbology, homeopathy, massage, flower essences, animal
communication, interspecies communication *, and many other vibrational healing modalities. Through Yreka Healing Arts Center, I offer private consultations and classes in many areas of holistic wellness.
In the case of your animal companions, I am also available for home visits and phone consultations. * Interspecies Communication: This term, meaing between species is rapidly replacing the previously
used term of animal communication. And it also references communication with a person's spiritual guides and teachers,
the devac realm, one's God-self or Higher self, and the like. This level of communication has been utlized by
Shamans and mystics throughout all time, and is being once again recognized as a gift to all of humanity who wish
to recognize it as such. To contact Kathryn Ariel for a consultation or about classes,, please call 530-938-1531, or email her at
